About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of portofmiamitaxi.com and the ground transportation services booked through it. The services are provided by FG Twelve LLC, 1221 Brickell Avenue, Suite 900, Miami, FL 33131, USA (“we”, “us”). By making a booking you agree to these terms.
Bookings and quotes
Quotes shown on the website are fixed fares for the journey described at the time of booking: the stated pickup, drop-off, date, time, vehicle class, and any selected extras. A booking is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation by email. Please check the confirmation details and tell us immediately if anything is wrong.
What the fare includes
Unless stated otherwise, fares include highway and bridge tolls, port and airport access fees, meet and greet, standard waiting time (60 minutes after landing for international flights, 30 minutes for domestic flights, and 15 minutes at non-airport pickups), and luggage assistance. Additional waiting time, extra stops, or route changes requested during the ride may incur additional charges at our published rates.
Flight tracking and delays
When you provide a flight number we monitor the flight and adjust the pickup time to the actual arrival at no charge. If you do not provide a flight number, waiting time is measured from the booked pickup time.
Cancellations and changes
You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup may be charged up to the full fare. Changes to time, locations, or vehicle class are free when made more than 24 hours in advance and subject to availability afterward; fare differences apply. No-shows are charged in full. Punctuality and missed connections
We plan pickups around stated boarding times and traffic conditions, and we strongly recommend the pickup times our team suggests. We are not liable for missed ships, flights, or other connections caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including traffic incidents, weather, port or airport closures, or delays caused by the passenger. Where a delay is caused by our fault, our liability is limited to the price of the affected transfer.
Passenger responsibilities
Passengers must provide accurate booking details, be ready at the agreed pickup point, comply with seat belt and child restraint laws, and behave in a manner that is safe and respectful to the driver and vehicle. Child seats must be requested at booking. We may refuse or terminate carriage, without refund, for unsafe, unlawful, or abusive behavior. Smoking and open alcohol containers are not permitted in vehicles except where expressly allowed in licensed party vehicles.
Luggage and personal items
Luggage allowances are shown per vehicle class at booking. Oversized items (wheelchairs, golf bags, bicycles) are welcome when declared in advance so we can assign a suitable vehicle. Personal items are carried at the passenger’s risk; we will make reasonable efforts to return items left in vehicles.
Payments
Payments are processed securely at booking through our payment provider. Prices are stated in US dollars. Gratuities are optional and at your discretion.
Service standards
All transfers are performed by licensed, insured drivers and vehicles that comply with applicable Florida and local regulations. We may substitute a vehicle of equivalent or higher class when necessary.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Otherwise, our total liability arising from any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
