Terminal E sits toward the eastern half of PortMiami's row of terminals and has long been a working home for MSC Cruises' Miami departures. MSC has grown faster in Miami than any other line, and with that growth came a two-building reality: some MSC ships use Terminal E while the newest ones berth at the giant new Terminal F complex. The single most useful thing we do for MSC guests is make sure the car goes to the right one.
When you book, we take your ship name, not just "MSC," and verify the berth the evening before sailing. Terminal E embarkation has its own rhythm: MSC's European-style staged check-in means arriving mid-window moves faster than arriving at opening, when the first rush stacks the security line. If your boarding time is 12:00, a 10:45 hotel pickup from Miami Beach or Brickell is usually the sweet spot, and we will tell you so when you book rather than let you overpay for a 9 a.m. car you did not need.
MSC's Miami passengers are the most international in the port, and many arrive on long-haul flights into MIA. For those bookings the included waiting time matters: 60 minutes on international arrivals, flight tracked, driver holding a name sign at the exit from customs. If immigration runs slow, the car waits. The fare you were quoted, from $89 airport or $75 in town, is the fare you pay.
